Biography
Musical Career
Since 2007: Member and first violinist of the VIENNA Strings.
Since 2015: Concertmaster and traditional Viennese lead violinist (Stehgeiger) of the Steubl Ball Orchestra.
Regular performances at major Viennese balls, including the Zuckerbäckerball, Jägerball, Vienna Philharmonic Ball, Blumenball, Ball der Industrie und Technik, as well as international engagements such as the Viennese Opera Ball in New York and the Philharmonic Ball in Essen.
2009–2018: Concertmaster of the Franz Lehár Orchestra, collaborating with conductors such as Herbert Prikopa, Marius Burkert, Reto Parolari, Oliver Ostermann, Pang Kapang, Shao En, and numerous renowned singers.
Multiple Japan tours as concertmaster of the Mozartiade Symphony Orchestra of the Opera Operetta Classical Vienna Series, performing productions including "La Traviata", "Don Giovanni", "La Bohème", and "Tosca".
Brazil tours in 2017 and 2019, including concerts in São Paulo, Mariana, Brasília, and Vitória, gala performances, TV appearances, and cultural collaborations supported by Austrian embassy programs.
China tours in 2011/12 with the Franz Lehár Orchestra and in 2024 with the VIENNA Strings, with concerts in prestigious venues such as the Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall and the Beijing Concert Hall.
Floating Concerts from 2020 to 2022: Performances with the VIENNA Strings in the world's first floating concert hall on the Old Danube, Vienna.
Education
First violin lessons at the age of 6 at the music school in Spittal/Drau with Jan Skarba, later with Inge Jacobsen.
From 1992: Studies at the Mozarteum Salzburg as a non-degree student with Prof. Bruno Steinschaden; one year later, violin performance studies.
After the first diploma exam: Continued studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Josef Hell.
After the second diploma exam: Private studies with Daniel Froschauer.
Masterclasses with Ruggiero Ricci, Ernst Kovacic, Christian Altenburger, Juan Carlos Rybin, Benjamin Schmid, among others.
